About Callahan Vehicle Maintenance

At Callahan Vehicle Maintenance, we do all mechanical repairs, log book servicing, light medium and heavy vehicles, old vehicles to new vehicle log book servicing and repairs. We also provide air conditioning and refrigeration repairs to cars trucks caravans and carry a variety of refrigeration gas.

We service and maintain all Powercor’s Colac fleet and other local company’s fleets, we are a member of VACC (Victorian Chamber of Commerce), ARC (Australian Refrigeration Council).

We are an authorised repairer for, Orix Fleet Maintenance, Summit Fleet Leasing, Boom Logistics and Fleet Care Leasing. We are fully qualified for LPG, light vehicles and heavy vehicles.

Bernard Callahan and his wife Julie are the business owners, have almost 40 years’ experience in the automotive and mechanical industry.  Bernard started in the industry at 16 years of age and has 37 years’ experience.  Julie Callahan looks after all the administration tasks, and together we have built an outstanding business, that is renowned for high quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.

Other staff in the business is our senior mechanic Gary Greene, who previously worked with Ford, Holden, Subaru and Nissan dealerships for 38 years.  Gary has extensive experience and can work on all makes and models of vehicles.  Our apprentice Baiden Langdon, has worked for us doing a school-based apprenticeship in 2018 and we have put him on full time as of January 2019.

The team love to restore older classic vehicles like 1950’s Chevy, and we’re happy to service your classic car or motorcycle.  Bernard is a member of the Colac Collectable Car Club and enjoys getting the opportunity to restore many classic vehicles.  We are not limited to any vehicle repairs and can work on all cars many makes and models such as, Audis, Mercedes, Volvo’s and Holden’s, new or old.

We also work on Nissan, Ford, Subaru, Mazda, Toyota, Fiat, Renault, Hyundai.
